Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds work for the Takamul platform. It covers fees you pay to Takamul for your plan and does not govern refunds between merchants and their own customers.
1. What this policy covers
This policy relates to the subscription and service fees you pay to Takamul in Saudi Riyals (SAR). Refunds for orders placed in a merchant's store are handled by that merchant under their own store policy.
2. Free trial
New stores can explore Takamul during a free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then to avoid being billed for a paid plan.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel from your dashboard at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which the account moves to a free or restricted state.
- Monthly plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month.
- Annual plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual term.
- You remain responsible for any fees accrued before cancellation.
4. Refund eligibility
Because the Services are delivered digitally and continuously, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. We may grant a refund at our discretion in limited cases.
- A duplicate or clearly erroneous charge.
- A confirmed billing error on our side.
- A prolonged service outage materially attributable to Takamul.
5. Non-refundable items
Certain charges are not eligible for refund.
- Fees for billing periods already used or in progress.
- One-time setup, migration, or professional services fees once delivered.
- Third-party charges such as domains, paid apps, or payment gateway fees.
6. VAT on refunds
Where a refund is approved, any value added tax (VAT) charged at the applicable rate of 15% will be refunded together with the eligible amount, and a corrected tax document will be issued in line with Saudi tax regulations.
7. How to request a refund
Submit a request through the contact options at the end of this page, including your store name, the invoice number and the reason for the request. We aim to review eligible requests promptly.
8. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in your account.
